The pins are soldered to upper layer of the board, not to the middle.
I have replaced them (all pins for the battery board)in complete with no problem.

I can confirm i repaired issue same like MrGT is describing fluctuate base voltage here on D80 Botvac,
Charger base pcb was found bad.
Medtech answer is correct.

This is part of the bumper spring mechanism, i attached photo of its location on upper assembly
when partial of it can be seen,Neato has 2 of this spring, 1 on each side.

I see the on\off switch is moved.
Also Lidar motor has changed his size and location on that Lidar plate.

Also make sure the motor pulley which drive the silicon red belt is not dropped down closed to base,
If it touches the friction will prevent the Lidar motor from start.

tocs : if you open the cover just follow the 2 twisted wire gray+brown from each wheel switch to the board,
you can disable the left one by making short on the wire going to the board.

Yes I had this same issue with Botvac board,
After few reset and restarts it came to life again.
But it might be also a hardware issue as George mention.

Could be weak battery and also main board failure.
What version this board is?

This is just temporary fix, the Botvac will refuse to charge next cycle or 2.

Your base charger output voltage is weak around 10vdc according to your print, should be at least 18vdc I had one came in for repair last month with fluctuating voltage on the same charger you have. Also could be the lcd board harness is partial inserted and your getting only one button to work.

The serial plug called "Card Edge Connector"
