Anyone else using a BloomSky weather station?
Where I live (in a deep canyon), the weather is so unpredictable here, including the temperature forecasts. I saw BloomSky campaign on IndeGoGo a while back, but I didn't want to take a chance (I was almost burned on one of them. Thankfully I received my full refund). Bloomsky introduced their STORM...

ZTCB1,
Thank you for sharing the specs on the Haier robotic vacuum. It looks intriguing. If you do decide to pick one up, please let us know how it performs in your home. If memory serves correctly, the Rydis R750 uses a gyro for navigation as well.

Re: Get rid of the ancient Karcher poll on the main page
Yes, the site is definitely in need of a major overhaul. The problem with the rest of the site is that the main site is Drupal, and the forum is phpBB. The method that I used to integrate the two is no longer supported, causing a lot of the functionality to break. The result is that anything that c...

Vic, Wow! You have become the "Robotic vacuum whisperer", haven't you?! You will bring great comparison data to the mix for sure (When time permits). ;) I still want to run mine for a few weeks solid before I feel comfortable in writing up a real-world review. I have been catching up on th...

A1,
Yes, it has been quite a bit of time. Life changes has kept me super busy, but I think it's to a state where I can start helping the forum out. I have missed you guys for sure!

Dyson 360 Eye™ review is in the works..
Hello all. Long time, no chat! I hope everything has been going great. I was pretty much on a long hiatus for personal reasons. So.. During my multiple moves and life changes, my Karcher RC3000 was performing marvelous! It lasted quite a few years with no issues what so ever. I just wanted a change....

The URL link is not working (yet). I think this needs to be moved to the Roomba/Scooba forum since this doesn't belong in the 'RoomBud' forum.
There has been no recent updates, so I'm sure that this forum will be eventually closed..

Re: Mecha Monsters: Gaming Robots
So I'm gathering you already have investors, and are needing a little bit of more revenue from Indiegogo for last-minute things? I have written several reviews here on Robot Reviews ( Reviews ) I will sign up on the mailing list. I used to be on facebook, but I didn't like the new ToS and how they s...

Re: Mecha Monsters: Gaming Robots
It wasn't my intention to steer people away from supporting you. I just wanted to let the members know what I went through and it's somewhat like gambling to save a few $$$. My other campaign I'm supporting is JIBO, which they have kept the communication active, and answer questions. Even though it ...

Re: Mecha Monsters: Gaming Robots
Caveat Emptor regarding crowdfunding. . . I supported a campaign which went south. Right after the end of the campaign, the main founder purchased a brand new BMW (Found pictures to prove it). One thing led to another.. No updates, and when they kept promising updates, it was like a half a minute vi...

Re: New England Weather Woes!
That's the only thing I don't have covered. . . The well pump. If we owned the property I would work something out like a whole-house generator like you guys. We moved to the top of Southern California out in the boonies, ROFL. Vegas was pretty expensive running the HVAC system during the summer. Th...

Re: New England Weather Woes!
Ouch! That sucks.. :( Since this has happened multiple times, have you thought about upgrading your generator so it can handle a larger capacity? Where we live, we don't have the luxury of natural gas. Just propane. When we first moved here, it was right before winter. We have a wood burning stove, ...

Guys, think twice, and research before backing this project. There are risks involved and you may not see your money or product! I backed one item on Indiegogo, and I am fighting to get my money back. I may not see my money or item!!
I'm not saying this project will flop, but it could...

I was thinking about getting the Baja, but when I saw it in videos taking jumps, the frame flexes quite a bit, and there was numerous reports of the frame breaking.. :( Yea, I can see nitro dropping out due to brush-less and gas. My 5ive will last roughly 45-50 minutes on one tank. My friend at work...
