It should be, providing the SCI didn't change. You would need a USB to SCI cable, available from Irobot. There are a few threads in the hacking section regarding the 500 series scheduling.

It's possible to setup a schedule with the icreate USB to serial cable. I did it yesterday on my 630 and it started up on its own today.

The scheduling commands used to program the time and schedules on a 530 can also be used to set up a schedule on your 630. Have a read about how to accomplish this neat hack here:

Ed I see that on your website you sell a USB cable but what about the end that connects to the roomba' serial port? Do they sell these pictured cables anywhere?

iRobot for some reason has discontinued the USB to mini din cable they used to list in the Create accessories page. I have the 7 pin mini din male connectors in my shop. I will list them on the Roomba hacker page in the very near future.

Will this http://www.irobot.com/~/media/MainSite/ ... eation.pdf work with Roomba 620? How to build such connection to set schedule. I found some parts in my country, but don't know if they're right. http://allegro.pl/konwerter-ft232-usb-r ... 39717.html http://allegro.pl/wtyk-mini-din-7pin-mo ... 38282.html

The USB UART will work, the 7 pin mini din will not. The 7 pin mini din pinout must match the SCI jack pinout.

Remember to only connect Rx, Tx, and Gnd. Do not connect Power from Roomba or USB.

Request to Send is not a required connection. Tx, Rx & Gnd are all that is needed. You can wire the Roomba pin 6 and 5 together for Device Detect but you don't have to.
