It should be, providing the SCI didn't change. You would need a USB to SCI cable, available from Irobot. There are a few threads in the hacking section regarding the 500 series scheduling.

hello. would you mind giving me some details on how you did the scheduling for the 630? Like what did you actually do the scheduling with beside the cable? some sort of software? thanks
The scheduling commands used to program the time and schedules on a 530 can also be used to set up a schedule on your 630. Have a read about how to accomplish this neat hack here:
Ed I see that on your website you sell a USB cable but what about the end that connects to the roomba' serial port? Do they sell these pictured cables anywhere?

iRobot for some reason has discontinued the USB to mini din cable they used to list in the Create accessories page. I have the 7 pin mini din male connectors in my shop. I will list them on the Roomba hacker page in the very near future.
Request to Send is not a required connection. Tx, Rx & Gnd are all that is needed. You can wire the Roomba pin 6 and 5 together for Device Detect but you don't have to.
