how to return roomba 780 series to base

have a brand new roomba 780 and sometimes it doesnt return to bace on its own and also wanting to know how i maunally return it to base with out picking it up

Pick yourself up a 500 model Scheduler remote control. Then pressing the Spot & Clean buttons at the same time will activate the Docking mode on your 780. Of course you can also use the buttons to move the Roomba forward, left, and right as well as power on and power off. You can also place the Roomba into the MAX cleaning mode which should be done every 6 weeks or so for better battery life. The only thing you can't do is send a schedule.

Press the clean button when it's running and the 780 will stop with the spot & dock option being displayed.

Ya, forgot that the panel will actually display the Dock button that once it is lit it can be pressed and the Roomba indicates it is in the docking mode.
