Roomba 780 Stops Early

Hello,
After charging my Roomba 780 overnight, it cleaned my small bedroom, dock light came on, and it docked. It took about 20 minutes to clean my bedroom before docking. I thought it would clean my living room also, but it didn't. Why did it dock so early? When the Roomba 780 docks, is the clean button and schedule display lights supposed to be lit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS;I bought the Roomba in Nov.,2012 for a Christmas gift.

It may take up to 4 to 5 discharge/charge cycles for the Roomba battery to reach its maximum capacity and increase cleaning run times. The Clean led should remain on when cleaning or charging, eventually the Schedule display should turn off while charging.
