Scooba 390 start and stop after few centimeters...

Postby junioroskovic » November 12th, 2016, 7:44 am

Hi,
When I start my Scooba, the pump works well, then it run and stop after some centimeters, then start again, then stop... etc 5 times.
Then stop with 1 beep.
No default light status.
I clean it several times, the whells are not stuck, I check the battery which is ok.
I run the Scoobat built-in-test, and all the test pass successfull...

I posted a video of the behaviour here: https://youtu.be/pyiru-orsEI

I contact IRobot support, but they said that my Scooba is dead...
Have you ever seem this problem?
(I'm french, so, sorry for the bad English).
Thanks for your help.

It may be possible that one of the motors that start up at the beginning is using too much current. It will be difficult to locate using the BiTs program. Possibly monitoring the SCI output during the BiTs may provide additional information. You may consider main board replacement.
