Have anyone replaced the Roomba fan motor?

Have anyone replaced the Roomba 500-600 dust bin fan motor?
The model is RC500-KW-16260 (S.M.C. MOTOR) with this specifications (I guess)
http://www.macphix.com/standard_motor/w ... 00_KN.html

I have found a lot of motors on eBay, Amazon etc with the same dimensions but they have all lower output and/or lower rpm

Have anyone found a solution that works?

Hi - just replaced mine with this motor from EBay -
Item No: 252958360223 - only £2.29 so I now have a couple for spares.
Chinese seller - but arrived in less than two weeks over Xmas so not too bad. Seems to be the same spec as original yellow motor - works fine with impeller running at full speed!
Hope this is what you are looking for.

Yes, I have also found that motor but....

The original motor is RC500-KW-16260 with the specification 12V and a no-load speed 11570 rpm
The motor you have bought seems to be a RC500-KW-16360 with the specification 3-6V and a no-load speed 2000-4280 rpm
https://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-3V-5V-6V-42 ... SwX61ZJOy-

For sure the rpm will be higher than 4280 rpm when you feed it with 12V (I guess around 8500 rpm) but I guess the lifetime will probably be short
But the price is low and it is easy to replace so a short lifetime is perhaps not a big problem.

Can you please give us a feedback in half a year or so if it still is running

Hi - oops - yes it does seem to be a lower spec.
However it does seem to run with same suction as original - I will post an update in a few months - or sooner if it fails!
