Roomba 563: (battery-voltage-ok?) FAIL

Unfortunately I got an old Roomba 563 with a battery problem.
At first I thought that just the battery died, but when I received the replacement I noticed that things are stil the same.

I put my roomba on the charger and I can see in the serial debug output that the battery is charging:
Code: Select all
bat:   min 2  sec 46  mV 306  mA 305  tenths-deg-C 245  mAH 7  state 3

But after the charging is done, and when I then press the cleaning button, or move the roomba away from the dock, immedialty the message "Please charge roomba" appears....

I then started the auto self-test the the roomba as enough power to perform all the tests easily - so the battery is obviously charged!!

In the selfest I noticed, the following:
Code: Select all
SUMMARY: (battery-voltage-ok?) FAIL
SUMMARY: (battery-temperature-ok?) untested
SUMMARY: (baseline-current-ok?) PASS   mA -243  min -270  max -220  mV 278  degrees-C 22

So obviously something is wrong with the battery voltage sensor!!!

Does anyone has an idea where I could start analysing the circuite to find the faulty part?
(In another thread I noticed that it might could be U3 MC34036 ... could that be the root cause for such a problem?)

Any hint that could push me in the right direction would be really great!
Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Maybe someone has a schematic of the PCB, where I can dig into it by myself?
(Currently I've no clue, in which area of the PCB the battery sensor could be located, which makes things quite difficult)

I would be really greateful for any kind of help here!
