960/980 no history

Is it possible to delete a Roomba's history?
Just today I wondered, as I bought a used 981 which had 0 Total area cleaned, 0 cleaning jobs, 0 total job time etc.
I seriously doubt a factory reset does that - can anyone confirm?

I had the opposite need with a used 980 I purchased and wanted to clear lifetime history.
Factory reset doesn't clear lifetime history.
I contacted iRobot (who graciously sent me a couple free filter doors) and was told that it could not be cleared.

Uh. Weird! Mine had some visible scratches, obviously acquired during use (the standard scars), so there surely has to be a way to do it. Perhaps it’s not supposed to be shared with us mortals. ;)

Possibly the history will be erased if the Roomba is removed from the app and then assigned a new and different name.

Hm! I will try that with my 966 tomorrow (it came used, with a long history). I left the default name “Roomba” for it in the app when I added it.
With 981 from my initial question, I immediately called it “Jeeves” (obviously, not the default name).
