Ok guys there is no release notes yet. So let’s dig in and see what changed?
I hope it navigates better on thick carpet!!
Mine barely moves and gets stuck.

It appears to fix an issue I was just starting to have where the roomba would constantly throw "Low Memory" errors, which would lead to the roomba going back to the dock and ending the cleaning cycle. Sometimes it would go 2 feet, say low memory, then go back. Early Tuesday this happened 5 times in a row, then the robot updated that evening, and I haven't had any errors the last 2 days.

That is good to hear. So the update did not help it move on my thick carpet. Lol I called iRobot and took a pic of the bottom of the robot. Right away they told me that the extractor Housing was bad. They’re going to send me a brand new S9 and replace mine

What does this have to do with iRobot? Lol

Nothing, it has already been reported as abuse.

Wait a few days, it will go away.

1.14.22 has a noticeable improvement in how hard the S9 hits walls. Now, like older Roomba models, it slows down considerably, and with about an inch or more of lead time, before hitting an object. Prior to this update, it would bash into walls and moldings pretty hard. It's a lot more gentle now. There are also a few improvements to navigation, including a particular behavior that the S9 had about needing to make little circle turns pretty often when following a wall with a tiny protrusion. Hopefully keep-out zones will be coming soon.

So I’m currently on 1.14.22 with my s9. This may be because I had an issue with noise which actually is believed to be a faulty debris extractor module. It would be nice to have release notes that’s for sure.
