Parting Out Dead Roombas for sale

I have two DEAD roombas:

1) Sage...intact but does not charge the battery for some reason.
2) White Discovery...in pieces. Brushes do not work and one of the gears in the brush gearbox is stripped.

Also have 3 walls, 2 home base chargers, and some extra dust filters (new).

I'd like to sell the entire lot for $100 to someone who wants/needs some spare parts...

Any Takers?

Hmmm, what model is sage? Is sage all smashed up and scratched? Also can you send me some photos?

Not sure about the sage model...I thought "sage" was the model??? The sage is in good shape, and works. But for some reason the battery charging function is broken and it will not charge. If you put a charged battery into it, it works fine. The discovery is in pieces.

I will take some pics and post or send them to you.

Here's what I have:
1 discovery in pieces.
1 sage complete
3 batteries (there's 1 in the sage)..not sure how good any of these are still.
4 new dust filters
3 walls (1 new)
2 docking sattions
1 A/C adapter for docking station
2 remotes (1 new)

The Sage not charging is a common problem, you may even be able to swap the disco motherboard into the sage to get it working. Search for U2/U4 failure.

The disco motherboard has a burned out MOFSET which controls power to the brush deck....but I was using the disco to charge the battery for use in the sage.

That can be fixed also. Look for U11 repair.

Yes, I ordered MOFSET from mouser and attempted a micro-solder repair...didn't work...smoked...need better eyes I guess.

I need a Home Base, Will that Homebase work for a 565 model?

I do not know...565 looks like a "newer" model and I don't know anything about it.

The 4XXX homebase will not work with the 5XX models.

Sorry, I didn't see this earlier, but you can sell broken Roombas on Ebay pretty easily, though not for a lot of money. Just be honest and point out what doesn't work and you will very likely sell it (if you still have them)
