Luxury Vacuum Equipped Furniture

There are cabinets for TV's inside which rise out of the top on motorized brackets, or drop from ceiling slots, even a multi-jointed one concealing a TV underneath a bed (costing much more than TV's). So I can see a possibility of cabinetry, bars, breakfronts, credenzas etc. with a garage for vacuums in the bottom, flipping open a kick plate garage door and sliding out the charger with or without the vacuum on a base (1/8 board works well).

Despite the factory advice Neato will park in tight spaces, if it can at least locate it from close by; it remembers it's starting point after all. Neato can be started by swiping a cam across the button. (Robots which operate keyboards, solenoid sets, are used for testing them; nothing unusual).

glnc222;

Our Neato resides in an entryway hall coat closet, roughly 3' wide and within the confines of that closet, and there is only a few inches on either side of the Neato...it docks virtually every time, so your premise is perfectly feasable!

My Neato tight parking space test - http://db.tt/B7IQwBtS

Not that I actually kept it like that - just clipping the chair leg once on the return often caused it to immediately give up the docking attempt and just shut down on the spot. Since the downstairs floor is easily done one one charge, the Neato and charger normally resides upstairs where the larger floor area needs a mid-vacuum recharge. When downstairs is due for a clean, I take just the Neato itself downstairs and set it off manually. Two chargers would be nice and two Neatos even nicer ;)

That closet experience shows cabinets, audio racks etc. with open bottoms on short legs can already by used.
Have some here must try, need to get the 1/8" plate for pulling out -- forgot about that application.
A garage may need only a mechanical door. Can't bump open though, confuses it.
Design of a door swung by vacuum weight alone available on request.

Under-Furniture Charging Tray
A&W Products 1/8" Masonite Sketchboard 15 x 16 Inch (04050)
[edit] edges need beveling to allow climbing onto even this 1/8" rise when backing into the charger, as traction much lower in reverse.
