LCD Warranty Screen Data

Postby glnc222 » June 11th, 2015, 1:18 am

The Warranty Info screen in the Support menu on the LCD turns out to show changing numbers instead of fixed information about the unit. The interpretation of these numbers is not yet known in full.
There is a difference between the XV model and the Botvac model screen format.

The data on the screen can also be retrieved over the USB connection with a GetWarranty command.

Three lines are shown on the screen which appear to be hexadecimal numbers at least on two of the lines.
On the XV the middle line and on the Botvac the top line appears to show the accumulated total run time across all runs in seconds. Convert from hex to decimal via google and divide by 3600 for hours usage.
The numbers here correspond roughly to the usage over several months and the change observed in one single charge run. Another peculiar run with possible interruptions did not match.

The middle line on the Botvac and the top line on the XV was mentioned as showing the number of charge cycles.
The number matches the long term experience here but not the effect observed in an individual run.

The bottom line is a larger number which also changes in unknown fashion.

Users might wish to explore any relation observed between these numbers and usage of the robot and post results here. Or links to the explanation already known elsewhere.

XV middle line is actual total charging cycle in counts, Botvac top line is total runs in seconds, which is function refer to XV top line as well.
