Sorry i donĀ“t know.

Hello ,
I'm new here, I use the Google translator because I'm from Germany and find this forum at the highest level of expertise.
Now my concern. Also, I would like to use a replacement display for a Binky UI 290-0026.
I got another display ENH-DG1280128-04
also with a ST7541 chip controller.
The pinout is the same as on the motherboard.
These I have taken 1: 1. Unfortunately, I get only an empty picture.
Can someone please tell me if I can not use this display at all?
I have attached the technical data in the appendix.
Thank you :help:

Since the pin assignment is the same, I soldered it 1: 1 so.But unfortunately, I only get a blank screen

I found out that the display does not have the i2C interface. (ST7541i) only ST7541. Is that probably the reason?

 AlainCAN :thanks:

Your fix revived the LCD in m Neato XV25!
I used a L7812ACV to provide 12V to the LCD as in this post:
http://www.robotreviews.com/chat/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=19263&start=140#p150984
I hope it will not get too warm on 24V, but I guess the power draw is minimal. And it is still easier to change than the complete LCD.

The original fix by AlainCAN for blank LCD:
http://www.robotreviews.com/chat/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=19263&start=120#p148386

I also changed the C10 capacitor (and most of the others) a few years ago to fix the dim green light of death

Long live our Neatos!

Hello,

I've just made an atempt at AlainCan method to make my LCD screen go (I did it on a XV signature) . It worked, unfortunally due to my poor welding skills, i've unwelded capacitor C5 and lost it. To make it work again I need to weld a new capacitor in it's place.

My problem is I don't know the spec of this part. Does anyone knows it and can help me with the problem.

Thank you all.
