Hi Help & Advice needed re below..
My D5 battery's was exhausted and would only run for several minutes, I managed to rebuild the battery pack with identical batteries, maintaining voltage to all cells during the challenging replacement. Once complete I had 14.4v at the connecting plug and was very pleased with my results, I refitted the battery put the D5 on the charger to complete the charging cycle before testing. However, when I returned the D5 had stoped charging and appeared to in some kind of boot loop........I tested the voltage on the battery and as you probably have guessed it was 0.02v Bricked.
My question is it just the battery that is bricked or will the D5 now be unable to connect to a new battery?
If it can be replaced with a new battery, any recommendations for an after Market battery as the Neato branded replacements are so expensive now?
Regards
Dvid.

Re: Neato Botvac D5 Battery help required
Could be a fault in system board battery charging components or in the power management IC in the lithium battery pack. These lithium Neato batteries have "smart" features with a serial number etc. embedded. "new battery" option in menu when replacing etc. See other thread on D5 in case related.
