A bit offtopic but here is my SR8980 emptying itself and going for another round.

interesting...I'm curious about its 'self-clean' capability - does it always empty its smaller dust bin from all dirt (incl. sand) and clean its main brush from tangled hair as advertised?

Saw it in action at a retail demo setup. The self emptying process seems to take quite a while and its a little noisy. How long does it actually takes to complete the process?

Check out the video I posted. There is the whole emptying / cleaning process from the beginning till the end which takes about 3 minutes. The emptying is not 100%. There is usually a small amount of dirt left in the container but I don´t see it as a problem. The robot spins the big brush in all directions and at different speeds during the emptying so it gets allso cleaned.
