We've solved one of the problems facing mobile robots; usability. 40 years ago the computer was only found at high level research facilities and in industry because to use it you had to know complex programming language. Today the same is true for mobile robots. We've built an interface with this problem in mind. Now beginners can command a robot to perform high level real-world tasks for them with the "click" of the mouse. Here's a video demonstration:

That is pretty neat. What about when there are people coming and going? I would be afraid of a child, or someone not looking where they are walking and accidentally step on it, or kick it..
Maybe make the Create a bit taller perhaps?

Thanks Fraggyboy - The create is expandable enough that you can do that. We'd like to leave the customization of hardware up to you. The create has mounting holes which would allow you to extend the body upwards.
Mfortuna, Wine, cheese, bread......life is good. I've included a screen shot of the mapping interface. Once the robot builds a map of your environment, you simply give it location designations and send it on it's way.
