This has implications for possibly longer battery life in Neato's switched to the Vorwerk lithium type setting and equipped with lithium batteries, now relatively simple to make. I think our Russian experts reported the refresh charging cycles were suppressed in software for this battery type, so the mosfet switches would be used to direct power from the dock instead of the battery. Perhaps the NiMh software operates differently and switches power to the battery when on the dock. Needs testing the software differences. (also posted to the Neato lithium battery thread)
