Measured with DVM across IR receiver in circuit with RC network at IRED duty cycle of somewhere around 20%. Lucky I could read any difference at all. I would have to hook up an O-Scope to see the true pulses, unfortunately I let the smoke out of mine.

The outer cliff sensors mechanical mod to deactivate the switch is doable. The inner cliff sensors pose a greater challenge, travel, docking and charging plates. I am now looking at a bumper mod with 2 series switches on the right side and 2 on left side for the inner cliff sensors.
