Neato Botvac connected Wifi protocol

Postby Apollon » April 16th, 2016, 5:14 pm

Hi,

I'd like to know, if it would be possible to integrate the botvac connected into home automation without using the Neato app. I found something here:
http://forum.mysensors.org/topic/2619/h ... nnected/43
https://github.com/kangguru/botvac

As far as I understand, it uses the Neato website. However, I would rather prefer direct communication.
Are there any informations out there on how to communicate with the botvac?

My final aim is to control my VR200 which is based on the Neato botvacs (i.e. has identical command set for usb control) and does have wifi integrated which - unfortunately - actually is not officially supported. However, it is possible to activate Wifi via usb terminal connection.

Thanks!
Apollon.
