Just for fun, removed the dual extractors and installed an old set of 500 CHM Brush Deck beater bars into the extractor deck. Makes a little noise on Linoleum flooring and does a nice job on Berber wall to wall carpet. The beater bars are just the right diameter to work in dual mode. Bristle brushes are too large to be used. The beater bar is just about 1/2 inch longer than the extractors so the end not used to mount the yellow bushing must be shortened using a Dremel cutting tool.

OK, decided to replace one of the modified beater brushes with a bristle style brush. Most Roomba style bristle brushes have a larger diameter than what the extractor brush deck can accept. Looking through the Roomba parts bin presented a solution - (a Dirt Dog small bristle brush). Of course this small brush has the proper diameter but the length was too long.and the yellow bushing was not able to fit the extractor brush deck. Below is a picture of the small bristle brush disassembled and cut to the proper length.

Here is a picture of some Plastic epoxy that is very sturdy for use with Roomba plastic parts.
