The Samsung on the russian movie mowes exactly like my Tango, just knowing straight lines, unable to mowe along a wall or to drive a curve. Some areas its leaving uncleaned.

Yes, she made a mistake. "Higher" model has daily scheduling option, of course.

Samsung Navibot & Tango uses probably the same software and algorithm.

I watched the videos, but I could not be sure about if navibot hits walls or not as Tango. Is navibot semi-similar vc-re70/72v or not?

I think it hits as same as Tango. To confirm this see all videos about Navibot and check manual. It has the same "soft-bumping" feature as Tango...Look at 2:06 of "Samsung Navibot - spot". It looks like it bump into wall and then move back.

This new mode, named "Edge cleaning mode" cleans only edges, but not as intelligent as VC-RE70/72V . It is not able to wall following (it "follows" but not as good as VC-RE70/72) and moving around objects like table legs.

@Bernd

You said that old VC-RE70/72 was not able to climb on carpets. Take a look at this: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12472&p=77346#p77346

As they said, in April.

For any Belgian interested, it is possible to pre-order the SR8845 and the SR8855 in Vandenborre stores. They expect them within 2 weeks, and they will sell them at suggested retail price (SR8845: 399€, SR8855: 499€).

No i haven't said that it is unable to climb all carpets, but i said it is unable to climb high carpets. :)

The VC72 can't climb on the carpet around my couch. And it is also unable to clean on soft carpets.
Also it couldn't climb the carpet in the living room of a friend.
When it cross the carpet not at 90 degree but for example 45 degree, the VC72 has often Problems.
It climbs not straight and looses the correct direction.
The low and middle carpets with not soft fiber in the video it will mostly climb.
Like you can see, the carpet in the kids room is the border for this robot.
Higher carpets and higher doorsill are to much for this robot, especially when it didn't cross it
with a angle of 90 Degrees. At this point the Tango is much better !

If in the future you will have the possibility to compare both models, you will know what i mean.
