@sageman

As I said in the first post, it looks like iClebo smart, more (camera). You post iClebo free which has not camera for mapping ability, but in overall it is similar :)

Well. As promised, here is my review of the homerun. I've got it for two month now, and use it every weeks. I've got a cat, and sometimes two ...

I'm giving you my felling about this robot, don't hesitate to ask if you have precise questions.

The mapping system is quite effective. It rarely miss a spot of my rooms. You don't have to use lighthouses (as Roomba needs) to show him the different rooms : it detects doors and cleans every rooms even if it needs to charge to continue. It goes back to its homebase and when its full, continues cleaning where it stops.

The navigation is really better than Roomba's (i got one 560 before), even if it's not always understandable ...

About cleaning, that is the bad point to me. It has got two side brushes. But these brushes often get stuck under carpets or move cables on the floors and put the robot stuck itself ... The other problem of the side brushes is that they almost always move every dirt everywhere around the robot, but not on the central brushe. Well, i pulled them out and never used them again. You understand, i'm not really satisfied of the cleaning power of this robot.

Another bad point is about robot maintenance. You HAVE to clean it each time you use it. The central brush is always full of dust, i dunno why, and goes less efficient. The side brushes move the dust everywhere in the room and on the robot, and get the sensors dirty and then unefficient...
Another point is about the dustbin that is anoying to empty : bin is not well thought and you should spill some dirt each time you remove it. In addition to that, the filter is hard to clean.

And it's just an iclebo with a nice philips sticker ;)

So, here is my 2 months feeling about the homerun. I can't recommand it. Yes it is better than Roomba, but really dumber and harder to maintain than Neato.

Deal, i want a Neato ! Please, sell it to France ...
