Robot vacuums navigation test: Roombas, Kaercher and more

Postby hdablin » September 3rd, 2011, 2:31 am

Sorry, if the link was posted here,in the forum (bot quick search doesn't show anything).

An interesting test of robot cleaners navigation is available on the Internet. (English machine translated version)

The guys from heise.de have build a "room" and make a video about robots' navigation. The following robots were tested:
  1. Cleanmaxx;
  2. Ecovacs Deebot D58;
  3. Ecovacs Deebot D76;
  4. IROBOT Roomba 564 PET
  5. Kaercher RC 3000
  6. Klarstein CleanRazor
  7. Ottoro S100-ion
  8. SanBot M788
  9. LG Hom-Bot 2,0
  10. Philips HomeRun
  11. Neato XV-11

Not all the robots do their job as well as their manufactuers promice :)

As usual a complete misunderstanding of the way the Karcher works. It works quietly and slowly. the 3 hour setting is for a reason. Given the correct amount of time the Karcher would clean all areas it could fit into
