Robotic pool cleaner

Postby Siobhan » September 27th, 2007, 11:23 pm

In addition to the iRobot Scooba i bought while in the US I have also managed to bring back a Aquavac TIGER SHARK robotic pool cleaner..

Once I have got over the jet lag....both will be on the go :D

It looks closely to the Verro 600. IMHO, I would think that it might be infringing on some patents(Maybe)!!

It would be the other way around! The shark existed before the Verro. Also, iRobot is working along with these type of companies to create them these types of robots. Don't be surprised if you see a Friendly Robotics Robomow (Lawnmower robot) labeled with an iRobot logo next year!

I have the Vero 300. I certainly wish it had the handle on top like the 600. On the 300 the handles are on the bottom sides of main body; it is somewhat difficult to lift it out of the water.

I still prefer my Polaris for ease of use and hands off operation, including scheduling, but right now my pool is leaking and down a lot so can't run the main pump and Polaris pump. Excellent opportunity for the Vero to keep the pool clean. It is worth the extra hassle to be able to clean the pool when the pool pumps can't be run.

I want to buy the robotic pool cleaner by Zodiac, model Polaris 9550. Is it good? Does anyone have suggestions on the high-quality robot? :?:

hmmm, it seems that term of 2 years is not so long? But, nevertheless, thank you!
