The very latest news and updates for the iRobot Roomba robotic vacuum, the Scooba Robotic Washer and the Dirt Dog workshop sweeper. All discussion and troubleshooting questions go here.
Regarding Scooba getting stuck on floor vents: my solution is to cut out a piece of plywood the size of the vents, then put four screws through the corners, so the tips of the screws stick through the other side of the plywood. This then fits over the floor vents, the tips of the screws fit into the holes, so Scooba can't knock it off. And the edge of the plywood acts like a wall to Scooba.
So, just wondering. Has anyone managed to do a head to head comparison between a 380 & a 390? What are the "ease of use" differences & the true value of the increased battery life? Is the 390 a better or worse deal, taking into account the decreased included accessories?
The cost for the 390 is really expensive. Id love to review one but for that price I can wait. Personally, I don't see a hugh difference from its twin sister the 385.
I think I'll wait on Vic to give us a peep of what's inside and if he can tell us if there is an improved battery circuitry. If all is well, then I'll glad to void my warranty and look at everything inside it
