Re: Possible pHpBB "BUG"?
The rest are bots, or spiders here. Click on the "Who is online" link and you can see all of them. Craig just made them not show up on the main pages.

Re: Possible pHpBB "BUG"?
The 'Bots', 'Spiders' and 'Feedfetcher' are still visible on the Login and My Account pages (in a different color) so that's what led me to think there was a "BUG" with the Forum Index page. Since this is 'new' software, I just wanted to mention it to you.
I probably would not have even noticed it if 'NoScript' hadn't prohibited my initial Login due to the URLs new name - roombareview.com was allowed; robotreviews.com was not.
BTW, did you take a look at the other possible "BUG" I reported yet? (The tiny fonts in the Glossary bullets.)
On a different note, what happened to the "Reputation" rating from RoombaReview? I thought that it was a useful feature for Newbies to be able to see who the "Gurus" were. Was it being abused?

While the website was in "beta", the bots showed up all the time. I guess Craig wanted to de-clutter.TakeTheActive wrote:The 'Bots', 'Spiders' and 'Feedfetcher' are still visible on the Login and My Account pages (in a different color) so that's what led me to think there was a "BUG" with the Forum Index page. The reputation didn't make the transition to the new website. Craig did not want to include it (So far). The majority know who are the 'gurus' here. If a member tries to claim they know something and are giving out false information, another member will speak up, i.e. a moderator or the "Reputable members" will correct them. This website is run by great people. Most of the time if a person gives out false information, they generally apologize for it. After all, we all are human.TakeTheActive wrote: On a different note, what happened to the "Reputation" rating from RoombaReview? Re: Possible pHpBB "BUG"?
As Fraggboy mentioned, it was removed from the main forum page to reduce clutter, but the bot information is still available elsewhere.TakeTheActive wrote:The 'Bots', 'Spiders' and 'Feedfetcher' are still visible on the Login and My Account pages (in a different color) so that's what led me to think there was a "BUG" with the Forum Index page. I noted it, thanks. The Wiki is not completely reformatted yet, so there are a number of formatting errors in it. It is in the process of being totally redone.TakeTheActive wrote: BTW, did you take a look at the other possible "BUG" I reported yet? (The tiny fonts in the Glossary bullets.)
it was originally intended to provide a feedback method for people who were going to use buy sell and trade, but it turned out to not really be necessary. There was not much demand for it, but it may return in the future if enough people ask for it.TakeTheActive wrote: On a different note, what happened to the "Reputation" rating from RoombaReview?
