Log On Error?
I have been a member for over a year. Tonight when I logged in it appeared to create a new membership for me. I sent someone a PM here last week and came to check it but since it said I had been a member for 2 minutes I am concerned that all my history and messages have been lost.

OK, my tag on the message has the right data. I guess it means I've been a member of the forum on this trip for two minutes. A little confusing.....

Not to worry!
When you logged in it synchronized your old forum login information with the new website. All of your original information is still intact. It was showing how long you have been a member of the new website, not the message board.
