sad roomba story

Postby arlene on December 1st, 2005, 3:55 pm

ok...so i have this roomba scheduler......i have watched its pattern for a couple weeks and all is well............so....i program it to do its stuff while i am out and when i come back, no roomba. i look and look.....cant figure it out......then as a last resort, i check under the couch........lo and behold, there it is..............so i lift up the couch and pull it to safety (mind you it never went under the couch before...it is jus about the same height as the clearance) and it is beaten and battered. it dug its way under the couch got stuck on the end of a very sharp spring end that was sticking down, and in its struggle to be free, incurred several very deep scratchs along the top and across the push buttons...........hideous.....it must have tried very hard to escape.....but i was not there to help.................its so odd as it never went under before.....it was just the luck of the pattern i guess....so now my brand new shiny roomba scheduler is tattered and torn...................i never had kids...........this must be what it is like.......

Bummer about the scratches :( Maybe stick a flower sticker or simular over the scratches to cover the war wounds  At least it did not fall down 10 stairs like my Scheduler did over a month ago and survived 8) Never take your new friend for granted   >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Talon

yes....its all very sad.....but its like the first dent in the door of a new car....it stings at first but then....well you chalk it up to "charater" Thanks for the decal suggestion, but i have decided to just let it be. They were well earned war wounds......it tried its little heart out to clean under my couch....that must be worth something........I have now tacked some wood strips along the bottom (out of sight) that will keep roomba from vernturing too far into forbidden lands........
