Fantastic... My Roomba Red blew up!

Post by bhylak »

I bought this dumb Roomba cover. Turns out it clogged the vent, my Roomba over heated and now it won't even turn on! Before that the RoomBud cover got caught on something and then the Vacuum belt burnt out!

DO NOT BUY! YOUR ROOMBA IS NOT NAKED! IT"S CLOTHING IS THE PLASTIC!

It is all lies! :liar:

(EDIT: I got a new Roomba Red from a relative)

What can you expect. It is made my kids!
I am sorry that the cover caused damage to your Roomba. Unfortunately, the Roomba doesn't have a vacuum belt. What exactly burnt out? Maybe we can help get your Roomba fixed.

Ok well before the Roomba turned on but brushes would not spin. I sent it to Pro Tech robotics they fixed it. That was caused by the cover getting caught on something...

Next my Roomba's vent was clogged it over heated and died. Won't turn on...

Why did you place the cover back on after Chris fixed it? It seems that you knew the cover caused your brush failure. I would have thrown it away right then and forgot about it.

With the cover off (Obviously), can you power up the Roomba (lights turn on after you press Power button)?

Yeah I figured it was just coincidince. After the 2nd time I was mad. It won't turn on with or without the cover. Lesson learned. It is ok I just want to put a message out that they can hurt your poor roomba. Heck now I can use it for spare parts. Actually the speaker on my Roomba Discovery's speaker died... Muwhahahahah!

Sorry Roomba Red!
