I'm trying to make my wife's life easier. I want to get her the "best" robotic vacuum. I've decided that's the Neato.
I've been monitoring deal and review sites for months, trying to get the very best price on the very best vacuum. I've read and I've read, and it's all mushed together in my head.
Everyone keeps saying that the Neato vacuums are essentially unchanged with newer versions. As a software developer, I can't stand the thought of newer not equaling better! So, before I buy, I want to be as sure as I can that I'm doing the right thing.
I've found three different price points for the Neato:
XV-11 for $220 (and a $45 giftcard) - WalMart
XV-14 Pet Series for $299 (a six filters/brushes) - Costco
XV Signature Pro for $350 - Woot
We have a dog, so I want the pet features. I just want the "best" vacuum, for the least money. Of the three above, which one makes the most sense? If the Signature Pro were materially better, I'd buy it, despite the higher price. But it sounds like the WalMart XV-11 is just as good.
