Hi, I have an ilife W400. I find the roller brush is not as aggressive as I would like. For instance it doesn't seem to do anything about tile grout. In fact it might even make it dirtier!
Has anyone tried to use a different roller or brush in the W400 to make it a bit more like the iRobot Scooba?
Has anyone used an alternative brush in an ilife W400?

I have translated your question for you...tadgh78 wrote:I bought a cheap robot, and now I find that it is sh!t. What can I do?
There are only going to be very few people on here that have one of those, so the chances of finding somebody that went to a lot of trouble to engineer a solution and post a detailed account on line is just-about nada!

I like the W400 for vinyl kitchen floor, but I wonder whether the mechanism could work with any sort of bristle brush, as it squeezes water out of the soft brush to collect it, as far as I can tell. I don't think they offer a different brush. You would have to start with what it takes to clean grout manually -- can it be done robotically at all?

The W400 is great.
You could probably find a bristle roller that could be easily adapted if you really wanted. e.g. http://www.qtool.co/bristle-rollers.php
