Will the Roomba work on stained concrete floors?

Postby pipper » May 25th, 2008, 4:06 pm

I have stained concrete floors which are sealed. Can I use a Roomba on it or will the brushes scratch the floor? If so, can you remove the brushes and it will still clean? Also, what will be the best model to purchase for carpet as well? Thanks for any suggestions

I don't think the brushes and beater bar will mar painted or sealed cement. A Dirt Dog for sure is make for this.

I bought a roomba 530 and it does mark up the stained and sealed and waxed concrete floor. I think it is mostly scratching the wax layer but it looks bad. I am returning it.
