Karcher is the best!

I ordered a RC3000 from the Karcher website. http://www.kaerchershop-schreiber.de/ I expected to receive an 110v model so I was surprised when it arrived with a European plug. A Karcher representative informed me that a 110 model is no longer available and suggested using a converting box(see note below)It has been a satisfactory solution. My little yellow robocleaner works perfectly, making its way around my home and returning to its dock to empty its load. I have owned a number of Roombas and liked them very well, despite the need for constant maintenance, cleaning the brushes and filter, dumping the bin, and rescuing it when it was stuck. Since Karcher joined my robotic crew my latest Roomba has been restricted to a single room that is on a different level than the rest of the house and Karcher has full run of all the other rooms. I love how Karcher rarely gets stuck and requires very little maintence or supervision. It is a huge improvement over Roomba! Note: after researching the use of voltage converters with robotic cleaners and appliances I choose a CB-2000 LiteFuze convertingbox 2000 Watt . It has been an ideal solution. . Both the converting box and Karcher have been working perfectly for about three months. Hopefully they will continue to do so as I would feel lost without Karcher! LiteFuze 2000: Heavy Duty Light Weight Premium Voltage Converter Transformer - Step Up/Down - Smart Sockets - Noise Reduction - Lifetime Warranty Full Grounded Cord (Free Euro Plug) 110/120 - 220/240 Volts Circuit Breaker

Customer service

I received my rc3000 last week. I ordered it through kärcher-schreiber. Unfortunately, the product did not work. After calling Germany twice, because they did not return my call, I received an email telling me to charge the appliance. This I had already done as per the instructions. I informed them it still did not work. Kärcher-Schreiber sent me another email saying that I would have to pay the freight to send it back to Germany for repair. Not a new machine, a repair. This I informed them was unfair as the appliance did not work from the onset. Beware everyone that freight to Germany is expensive. Avoid this unreliable product and discourteous customer support from kärcher-schreiber. Buyer beware indeed.
