Re: My vision was blocked. Please press OKAY (3000)
I have a Neato XV I bought used last year. It had an issue and I checked with Neato and amazingly it was still under warranty. They sent me another unit and now it get the vision blocked error. I contacted Neato and they game me procedures to try on it and if they fail, as I bet they will, they will...

SR2AK9000UG model
I am a long ago used Roomba man now a used Neato man. I had the opportunity to buy a used SR2AK9000UG and see if I like it better than a Neato. I still want to dabble in the BotVac but the Samsung looks like a upgrade to a Neato.

XV 11 and the ribbon cable
Hello I replaced my pcb in my Neato and broke the plastic clip holding the lcd ribbon cable to the pcb. I tried using hot glue to hold the cable onto the board and it has not worked so far. Does anyone have an idea how to hold this on now? I hope I have not wore out the cable in the many attempts to...

Re: XV-14 goes into hibernation
This may have been a bad battery issue. I swapped batteries and the Neato has not gone into hibernation since. I am still testing and will post what I find out after using this a few days.

Re: XV-14 goes into hibernation
I connected the Neato to my USB and PC, the Neato does not wake up. Any other ideas? It does not bother me to reset it by removing the battery every now and then, but this was to be a gift and I wish I could fix it.

Re: Roomba 4210
That will depend upon your comfort level when removing and installing surface mount devices vs soldering wire to the foil traces then soldering the other end of the wire onto a TO-220 case with heat shrink tubing. My son will be doing this, and the soldering is his strong suit. I have had him remov...

Re: BobSweep Pet Hair robot
I bought another Bobsweep, I sold the first one. This is the same model, the red one. Bought it for $35 it had an error 0 on it when it tried to run. According to the Bobsweep website, it was a stuck left wheel. Using a flashlight, needle nose and a small screwdriver I pulled a complete hair bret fr...

Re: XV-14 goes into hibernation
Hi Vic you should be charging me by now with all the questions I have put on there the last week.vic7767 wrote:Wonder if that Neato is suffering from the C-10 capacitor issue ?
I suppose the fix is to replace the C-10 capacitor? Is there a diagnostic for it?

XV-14 goes into hibernation
Hello I have an XV-14 that does a weird thing. After a cleaning it sometimes shows a dim green light and won't poor on, or charge. The only thing to wake it up is unplug one of the batteries. It does not do this all the time. These are new batteries so I don't think that is the issue. Any ideas?

Scooba cradle question. When a battery is in the cradle, one light is solid green and another blinks green twice repeatedly. Does this mean there is a charging issue?

Re: Wake Neato up from dead mode
There are only two type boards. Rev 64 (newer models) and rev 113, (earlier models) When replacing, you must obtain the board with the same type of User interface ribbon cable. Early models used a friction / compression connector, later models use an actual pinned connector. Interesting mine looks ...
