Display information on the NeatoControl tabs (Options, Sensors, Scanner). Or get this information using the terminal commands.

Re: Determining Neato board revision without opening?
Probably the firmware files were saved only in private archives. The firmware 3.4 that I uploaded to my device a few years ago is in the attachment - https://yadi.sk/d/O3xXQ8t_NLw9lA. I hope you fully understand the risks associated with flashing the device. After flashing check configuration by Get...

Re: Determining Neato board revision without opening?
You can see the revision in the Support menu on the bot display. Rev113 is Cruz, 64 - Binky.

The lidar lid supports draws 10 stable shadows in the form of narrow sectors on a circular panaram. On XV series they look like in the picture below(in fact the same as your diagram): The behavior you are describing is most likely due to false switching-on of drop sensors, magnetic sensors or bumper...

Try in test mode:
setconfig SideBrushType SIDE_BRUSH_VORWERK_REV1
or
setconfig SideBrushType 2.

Re: SetConfig commands on BotVacs and Model spoofing.
The XV-model firmware update utility leaves the update log on the PC. The setconfig options were taken from this log. Does the log remain after updating the Botvac firmware?

Since the bot does not find the base, you should check the lidar first. It's on the Scanner tab.

Re: BotVac Connected - error 2010 - Clear my path
The legs of the lidar cap overlap the view and give 10 permanent shadows on the lidar diagram (error 8035). See the chart for the XV series - http://forum.ixbt.com/topic.cgi?id=47:11895:1554#1554 . Test the lidar by the NC. If other permanent shadows will be found on the diagram, then the lidar is d...

Would you know the difference? Jinpat is not the only slip ring manufacturer in the world. It is not difficult to find a replacement with suitable dimensions and specs, such as for LPM-04A. Perhaps even cheaper, for example -- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ZSR012B-4-4-Channel-2A-12-5mm-Out-Diamet...

Normally the lidar farsightedness is up to 6 meters. If it decreased to 0.5 m, the laser energy is probably exhausted. It will take a replacement of the lidar in this case.

If so, ExtPwrPresent must be equal to 1. VExtV should be higher than VBattV. It seems that the charger must be checked.JEfromCanada wrote:(run while Neato was on the charger)

Re: How to use neato with suction off
There is a way to solve this task. But it seems not very elegant. First, you should command 'setconfig blowertype 3' . In response, the robot will write 'BlowerType = 3 (BLOWER_DELTA_NO_PWM)' . Then you need to remove the cover of the fan compartment (unscrew 4 screws at the bottom of the case), dis...

You can start the motors separately with NeatoControl or any terminal program to locate the source of the noise.

The P9 connector, as reported, is used to connect the side brush in VR100 configuration (it is not used in the Neato models).mailhoarder wrote:Can anyone please tell me what is this a connector on a picture? I can't find a proper cable, or maybe there was no cable connected to it?

Re: Neato lithium ion battery revisited
As it turned out, there is an additional module in the VR100 (rev113) between the motherboard and lithium battery. In Neato XV11 (rev113) such module is absent. Therefore SetConfig is a necessary condition but not sufficient. Link to this post in the Russian forum - http://forum.ixbt.com/topic.cgi?i...

Re: XV-21, firmware 3.4 short run time (not battery related)
Most likely there is a wall sensor fault. Try turn it off by ‘SetWallFollower Disable’ command before starting to clean.
Another way - run a SPOT cleaning in the broad area without obstacles. Then post GetLifeStatLog in a text file here (NeatoControl cuts the log, so get it through the terminal).
