Re: Difference between 905-0262 and 905-0310 charging docks?

This is a guy who has been selling the parts for years. https://www.amazon.com/Botvac-Charger-C ... B01DRBPCSI As I read the ad they are not compatible. The Robots use 2 different battery types of batteries. (Botvac Connected is lithium)

Re: D3 not updating

I had 3 in storage from a prior sell that I got for $99 that I updated just to see if I could (all 3 updated) 2 immediately, 1 the add and delete trick). It seems to be a YMMV with the current units sold from Walmart. I am sure those units have been sitting in a warehouse for several years and most ...

Re: D3 not updating

Be sure to delete the Robot from your account and then add it back. If it does not work, try a couple more times of repeating the sequence of adding then deleting. I also might be a good idea to delete the app from your phone and the adding the app each time you repeat. Here are some more suggestion...

Re: D3 not updating

If you completed a mission using the app. (Make sure you see a cleaning summary from the mission you completed. )Take the robot off the base and press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds until it goes off. Then place it back on the base. Give it some time because it is going it is going to n...

Re: D3 not updating

You are only working on trying to get the update at this point. ( If you want more capacity sell the existing battery and buy the upgraded one). Just close a door and run in a small room to test it if needed Now that you know you can run the robot with the app try to upgrade the firmware again (What...

Re: D3 not updating

First, If you are connected to wifi put the unit in a small room and run it from the app. Verify it can complete a mission (FYI for members who don't know these are being clearanced at Walmart.com for $179) Neato's servers prioritize traffic, and as a proud new D3 owner (3 generations old discontinu...

It's not the router. You need to get a slow green light blinking. It can be tricky. Press from the right side.

Re: disabling sound ?

Has anyone removed the speaker?
Are there any disassembly videos for the M6

The M6 takes forever to complete and needs to be run at night. Irobot has confirmed the speakers cannot be turned off. I have no need for a musical tone to go off upon starting and completing a mission.

Thanks in advance

Re: Best vacuum to use without any wifi availability?

Roomba 960. (You can update the firmware with your wifi before you put it in use) Try to buy it on sale, from a store with a great return policy

It just works, is quiet and easy to repair with limited mechanical skills. Customer Service is outstanding.

Re: Ordered a Neato D7, questions about creating floor plan

You might also want to consider the D5. BestBuy just had it on sale for 199.99 and is currently selling it for 299.99. You can price match to Home Depot and have 3 months to return it if prices go lower. It compares favorably to the D7

Re: Ordered a Neato D7, questions about creating floor plan

Be patient, you may have to repeat the process several times. Where the robot starts the area needs to exactly match the map you create. In outer areas of the map you can move furniture around, up to a point. Try to put No Go Lines only where you really need them. When drawing a No Go Line, save it,...

Re: D3 updated with No-Go Lines

I have three D3's that have been updated. I have not had a single day since in which all three of the Robots successfully completed a mission. (Prior to the update, they had a 99.99% completion rate and return to base.)

I think we are being used as Beta testers for the "No Go Lines"

Re: Neato D7 4.3.1 issue

Not going to start a new thread, will post it here. Mod please move if necessary.

Just started running the 4.3.1 firmware on three D3 robots. Buggy as heck on all three. Hopefully, a patch is in the works.

Also, any news on an aftermarket battery?
