Wish Granted?
From December 30, 2007: I want a Scooba that cleans showers. I suppose it would be too greedy to hope for tiny disposable Scoobas for the toilets, but I would settle for a half size 'bot to clean the floor all the way around the toilet. :) In this same thread, other suggestions for a half-size bot w...

Re: Newly Announced Scooba 230 and Roomba 700 Series
Our Scooba 330 (or similar HSN model number) has been responsible for 2 kitchens and 3-1/2 baths for 3+ years. It's had one battery replacement/upgrade and one new squeegee. I almost ordered a 2nd one over the holidays, as my current schedule demands one-evening cleaning of the whole house, and Scoo...

Re: Scooba Juice Cheap @ Fry's either Local/Online!!
Talking to myself here now . . . I found the ingredient list-- Complete Ingredients: Water, plant derived enzyme blend, coconut oil surfactants, orange fragrance. How bad could that smell? But it sure will smell different! :?: Still have all the questions about how it works in the Roomba, how clean ...

Re: Scooba Juice Cheap @ Fry's either Local/Online!!
What's new about it? 1. The color--gold/tan 2. 64 uses per 16 ounce bottle 3. Nontoxic vegetable enzymes 4. Not Clorox branded What's the same? :? You say the smell. Or maybe this one isn't nicknamed "Scooba juice?" Maybe "Scuba nectar," lol? Just seemed awfully coinciden...

Re: Scooba Juice Cheap @ Fry's either Local/Online!!
Has anyone tried the new Scooba juice?
Are they phasing out the old Clorox one? It's on sale everywhere. If so, I might stock up even more. I'm not crazy about the aroma, but it gets my particular floors much cleaner than the vinegar, especially the tile.

Re: New battery for Dirt Dog or new/refurb 560
Not quite the same topic, but the editor won't let me post a new topic, and has come back with 3 sets of threads to check first, so I give up! This thread at least has the same idea, but I'm asking about Scooba. I was planning to get a Scooba charging base and second battery so that I can do all my ...

Re: Will the Scooba work on my floors?
I have tried Scooba on my wood floors. Works great on the more newly refinished ones. It seems to leave a little too much water between the boards on the more worn ones, for my opinion (but less than my housekeeper used to when I had one). So I use Roombas on the wood floors (and right over all of o...

Re: Emotional Support
I have one Scooba 335 (from HSN) purchased Black Friday 2007. It keeps 2 kitchens, 2 entries and 3 bathrooms scrubbed. "Replenished" earlier this year when water pickup slowed down. Have never taken the battery out, and keep it plugged in, except when I forget. Prime with air before every ...

Re: Roomba complaint filed with Minnesota Attorney General
I don't know how much life is reasonable to expect from these batteries. Mine have done better than most of my laptop batteries; most of those have only gotten a year or so of reasonable "unplugged" life. Only my Asus EEE netbook battery may prove to last longer. I seem to have gotten 2.5 ...

Re: Roomba 560: seems to be charged, runs only 1 minute
Wow, that's such a great price that maybe I should order one, sort of like insurance!
One simple and crazy thing to check/try is to be sure your battery is held very tightly in the Roomba. If there's any wiggle room, add more foam to the Roomba cover to keep it tight against the contacts.

In regards to the battery, did I robot mentioned that they will send you another? They presumed it was the battery, and so their first step was to send a new one. That didn't help at all. But that's how I gained a spare battery. If I don't send the robot back now, I hope they don't think I conned t...

iRobot told me to strip the robot of brushes, dustbin, box, ETC ., and just send back the main unit. The e-mail confirmation said that I would be charged for anything I didn't keep and the new robot didn't have. Also, that they won't send the new one until the old one is received. First they said I ...

Identified 535 MECHANICAL charging problem--Still Return?
I received an e-mail for paid UPS label on Christmas Eve, but with holiday stuff and work didn't get to the return process until this morning. So I set about finishing the "stripping." When I removed the battery, I observed the foam in the battery well. There was a little black strip of fo...

Well, that certainly makes sense. But it can't be what was happening in this case, because I was using plain water while waiting for my Scooba juice order to arrive (that first little bottle didn't last long). But it's working now, and hopefully it stays broken in. As far as taking care of it right ...

Roomba Battery Questions
My replacement Roomba 535 isn't expected here for a couple of weeks. I have 2 batteries, as that was initially the suspected problem, and iRobot sent a new one. Each spent about a week in the Roomba, with the charger plugged in. But always with a charging error, and not charging. Question 1: Would t...

My Experiences with My New Scooba 335--Check Tank
I have the HSN Scooba 335. I was shipped with the very light blue 3000 mAh battery, but HSN has finally agreed to send a replacement battery. Here's what was happening. The Scooba check tank light would come on when the water level got low in the tank, but not empty. If I didn't hear it stop, the re...

I sent a very grouchy e-mail to HSN this afternoon, since nice certainly didn't work. I got a reply e-mail within 2 hours, including an apology and a note that a replacement battery would be send and be here within 15 days. It didn't mention the battery color, but I'll just wait and see what I get i...
