Where I live (in a deep canyon), the weather is so unpredictable here, including the temperature forecasts. I saw BloomSky campaign on IndeGoGo a while back, but I didn't want to take a chance (I was almost burned on one of them. Thankfully I received my full refund).
Bloomsky introduced their STORM device which acts in tandem with their Sky unit. Both can be mounted with the stakes and are powered via a solar panel.
I am so happy knowing the actual temperature at my house, instead of looking at a weather page and wondering how far off they are.
If you have one, my device name is: Orbie & Stormie (Search for it on the Explore page.) You can see a fish-eye view of the Sierra Nevada's. Where I live, you can't see Mt. Whitney Peak. It's buried behind Lone Pine peak.
EDIT: Bloomsky is offering a discount for certain states:
Please follow the below steps and submit a completed application and survey to be considered. If accepted, we will send you an email with an one-time shopping code to be used at checkout reflecting the program's $99 plus shipping for the SKY2 Weather Camera Kit. Please keep in mind that the current program is a limited time opportunity and available to United States residents of CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI and VT.
