Hello. I can’t quite figure out the right forum. The international one seems very low traffic and I am in Australia.
Scooba was great when item it worked on my tiled floors (I have hardwood too but usually manually mop them but would love a robot option!)
However with the amount of time I spend fiddling around with Scooba bc it either won’t put down water or won’t pick it up, I might as well scrub the grout myself with a toothbrush. I have officially given up.
Nothing seems to have consistently good reviews. I like the iRobot (love my Roomba) but the brava doesn’t seem to get good reviews either.
Does anyone know a good robot mop (vacuum function not essential) (any brand) available in Australia that doesn’t require constant fiddling around to work.
Thanks so much
Is there a robot mop that actually works?

I use the iLife W400 Shinebot (also a higher model) years now, which extracts water, spinning mop brush. Some posts on it here somewhere I made. Only one like that found. Amazon distribution developed recent years, or try ebay, mfg. direct, aliexpress.
It also has a very low bumper sensor deflecting off carpets encountered, which keeps it in the kitchen here, can avoid throw rugs on hard floors.
Note two different brush types, fluffy and smoother now supplied with it.

If you have a chance to use a Scooba 450 it would be the best option out of all the Scooba's. It uses the normal Roomba Ni–MH battery which is better than the expensive Scooba 300 series battery. You can also use the iRobot XLife battery which gives a much longer runtime. Robot mops are still evolving and getting better with time. Most modern Robot vacuums have a built-in mop most of the time.
