I have two Neato D7's having fixed the WiFi issue with one, I'm now looking at the other with the two alternating LED's near the power button, I initially thought this could be a software issue, as the Neato would power down if the power button was held down, so I assumed the microprocessor was responding to the power button? I then tried to update the firmware..... but I discovered that I have no power on the micro USB connector on the PCB when powering Off or On the D7. I replaced the 100 uf caps as one was reading slightly low but this made no difference, I have tested all the wheel motors, side brush, vacuum, Lidar, and brush motors all work on my bench power supply and no detected shorts to ground on the motherboard.
Has anyone researched the power rails on the D7 as its very difficult to trace the path with this black PCB, I have a feeling I have lost power to parts of the mother board which could be preventing the boot sequence? I would be interested to hear from anyone re the D7 Motherboard, power rails, boot sequence, hardware issues / known problems etc.
