Is it possible to make roomba bluetooth interface, using hardware from simple blutooth usb adapter togather with serial cable?

The cheapest way to do it is to build one yourself using a BlueSmirf chip from Sparkfun. They run about $60:

The rest of the parts come in at about $10 altogether, making your total $70. However, like vic7767 said you can just spend an extra $30 an buy a pre-made Rootooth which includes a nice case and already works. If you are handy with a soldering iron and want to try making it yourself, check out this link:
