Samsung VC-RA84V English User manual?

hi all

have just received my VC-RA84V today, here in denmark, but the manual is only in korean, and i need to know how to set the time, and the scheduling option

i can see that sellers on ebay, says they deliver with an english manual, do any of you guys have that, or a link to where i can download the english user manual for this wonderfull robot

For the first you have to set clock and then set scheduled time

i´m sorry, but i still dont get it, the only thing i get out of this video, is how to set scheduled start like to start in xx.xx minutes,

i´m still looking to where i can set the actual time to the tango, and afterward have it scheduled to run every day at 09.00 hours

does this thing have 24 hour time system, or is it 12 hours am & pm?

This is my first post here in Robot reviews, are you sure you can schedule that model? or does it has only timer?
it seems that the Samsung SR 9630 has only timer with a MAX of 12 hours, at least is what i understand from the italian manual and also in the presentation video, if i'm wrong would someone please correct me.

hello again

according to the user piokrza in here, it should have the ability to do a daily schedule like on 09.00 every day, but that wil only work if the robot know the time

- it has daily scheduling option, but you can schedule it at one time every day (it will be cleaned at constant time every day),

i bought it on ebay from korea, took almost 14 days to get

Hi, although Tango manual is in Korean, it is not so hard to understand.

On page 20, it is explained how you set the time (hours are from 1 - 12, there are Korean symbols on the left which represent morning and afternoon).

Then on page 30 and 31, it is explained how you set the timer. It has two options, they differ just in one aspect: Whether the robot speaks when it wakes up or keeps his (her? - the voice is woman) mouth shut

It seems that you can set only time of the timer, i.e. it will wake up every day at the same time. No possibility to specify day or more times.

I'm very interested in buying a robo vacuum cleaner, but i haven't decided yet. I'm waiting to see the reviews on the Neato VX11, and also curious on Roboking and the Furot II. I live in Portugal so i think i wont' get that many options because the Neato sells only in US and Canada, Samsung only has SR9630 in Italy, the rest i must wait. I like the VC-RA84V but in case of malfunction were do i sent it? does its warranty covers Europe?? or it's only for Korean Market?

Hi Sergio, it does work, I tried it. I just explained that it's not hard to understand how to set it up from the manual.

ebay solves everything. Just don't be afraid Depends if you are robot enthusiast as we are (then you need the best robot, regardless from where it is and how safe the warranty is) or just a consumer.

I like Electronics alot, and the robot cleaning got my attention for obvious reasons, my worries about warranties is that i don't want to be stuck with a product in case of failure because i have no support in Europe ( my wife has some serious doubts regarding robot cleaning machines, so if i have a faulty machine and no support you can imagine what i have to listen from my wife
At the moment i'm going to wait for the reviews on the Neato VX11 to see if it lives up to expectations!! i would like also to ear news on products for 2010 from I-robot since they are the world leading company in robot vacuum cleaners.

Hi Sergio, so maybe it is advisable to have the first demonstration of the robot for your wife a bit prepared?

Long time ago, I visited my girlfriend with my first robot (1st generation of Roomba). I was very excited about it, she was a bit sceptical.

I put the robot to her room and it very soon started consuming her carpet and got stuck completely. She then concluded that robots are useless nonsense

I believe it to be the best thing to do Since I don't know anyone that has one, after I choose wich one to buy, when it arrives I will try it alone before I make a demonstration to her
That way I will try to make a flawless demo and avoid the comment " robots are useless nonsense "

but it doesnt start cleaning at 09.00, this just doesnt work, or we are doing something wrong,

You just set the delay start.

Page 20 - setting the current time
Page 30 - setting delayed start (up to 12 or 23 hours?)
Page 31 - setting scheduled time (everyday cleaning)
