I can't understand , why they say "pre-motor filter - foam" and "exhaust - HEPA11"? Is there any pre-motor filter? I saw that there is only pre-motor HEPA filter... http://www.samsung.com/ca/consumer/home ... fullspec=F

I didnt saw any pre motor filter on my Tango, but maybe there is such a filter inboard, because
the hepa filter isn't very effectiv or let me say the (nonexistent) sealing of the hepa filter isn't effectiv.
The Tango Hepa filter hasn't a sealing, it just stuck and wobbles into a slit of plastic.
Above the hepa filter i can see much dust, which must be going through the filter or through
non existing "sealing" of the filter to the motor and then into the room again.

The older VC-RE72 has a folded hepa filter with much more surface area and with a good rubber sealing.
Above this filter i couldn't see dust going into the case.

New 2010 Samsung tango models:

VC-RL84V
VC-RL84VC
VC-RL52V

Main difference between this new model and previous (VC-RA84V, VC-RA84VC and VC-RA52V) is noise reduction (new one only 55dB, old 62dB).

It was released recently, I don't know exactly when (few days, weeks maybe).
Also, it is available on ebay:

VC-RL84V
VC-RL84VC
VC-RL52V

It seems that there's a new colour in korean market : vc-rl84vr (mirror red)
Specs wise, all same. I wonder the difference besides the noise level.

Oh ya, the charging voltage for korea are 220V 60HZ. But the country i live is uses 240V 50HZ. Do i need any transformer if i plan to use it in my country? (import from korea) Or it will just work fine?

Yes, it is interesting. Maybe in the near future I will post here some videos. I was looking at korean web services for videos but found nothing :(

Sorry for the late answer. It should work without any problems. One of users of this forum - arief, used Samsung VC-RE70V in Australia (240V/50Hz) and he tells that it was working good.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think samsung korea has officially announced the new model. I dont see any news from the korean websites regarding the new models.

But it's already selling in the market.

Too bad i cant read korean language. I've been through some websites comparing roomba 577(it's the roomba sold there with 2 light houses), tango vc-ra84v and roboking.

and too bad my girlfriend doesnt share the same interest as me! @@ (she could read koreans)

Oh.. There's some korean reviews stating roomba has a better efficiency than tango and roboking :
http://ceo2002.tistory.com/424

I used google translate and barely understand them.
But i know 1st - roomba 2nd - roboking and 3rd - tango.

Check out the condition of the test though

This is the reason why Navibot has Max Mode - for better cleaning very dirty rooms/houses.

Thanks for the links. Which one should i go for?

I'm also worried about the the availability of accessories. Irobot's one is definitely easy to find.

Tango and roboking.. i dont know. If the battery fails, I've no idea where to find replacement :P Not to say the brush and filters as well.

But on the other size, i'm eager on trying new technologies from samsung ;D

And this is the problem - spare parts  some of these are available on ebay - like for example, for VC-RE70V, but how long it will be - I don't know.

Yes, it is 7dB difference between VC-RA and VC-RL models (first 62dB, second 55dB).
