Some pics. Look at the cleaning head. It doesn't have bristle brush but rubber roller (or something) :?

Here you have video where is comparison of Roomba SE with Trilobite. It looks like Trilobite can't deal with picking up very small particles of dirt (as an example: flour)

Thank you for the great photos!! How long does the trilobite run for? I'm curious due to the 2 sets of batteries. It would seem that it would run well over 2-4 hours on a single charge.

The vacuum motor has a nice weight on it. I'm sure it takes a little bit more energy to get it going, but once it gets up to speed, it would take less energy to keep it going..

It run only for 60 minutes on single charge which takes 2 hours. The vacuum motor is very big and the power consumption by robot is 90W.

Wow!! That's crazy! That sucks that the motor consumes all of that and it still doesn't pick up as well as the Roomba..

Yes, unfortunatly it's true. It has a big suction power but it don't pick up as good as Roomba because of it rubber roller... I think that if it will have a normal brush (as an example Roomba) + strong suction power which it has = it will pick up very well small dust particles.
ps. Charging station consumes 60W

Wow. Who ever came up with the disk shaped vacuum cleaner idea should of filed a patent. They'd be rich!

Not to hijack this thread, but does anybody know how to get the front bumper off of a Trilobite? I have googled but have not found a way to get it apart. I'm wanting to get into one of mine to check a hose. Thanks.

Hi,

There is two little holes under, pushing with small pin you can open the locks.
But that is rather dangerous, because when reassemble, you might destrot the prosessorcard.
Why should you check the hose? error 15 perhaps?

Your Trilobite is wellcome to Finland for service :)

I have a unit that will start up for a few seconds and then give an error 4. That error is not listed in the book. I have tried another set of batteries (out of one of my other Trilobites) and it still gives the error. I was wanting to see if there was something like a hose or something I could fix myself before having to ship it off to have it repaired. Any idea what that error means?
