Purple smoke poured out of iLooj

I just plugged the battery into the iLooj and purple smoke came out. It smells burnt. I haven't used the device in over 2 years. Batteries were not left in the machine when it was stored. ILooj powers up but will not power the wheels or the auger. I believe it is the iLooj 25. It is green and I bought it 3 years ago.

You could try opening up to see if you can figure out what burnt up. I'm not sure if Looj parts are available from internet sellers. Replacing the main PCB may be an option.
