Buy/Sell/Trade hack?

Post by glnc222 »

Posts in the Buy/Sell/Trade section have vanished even though a recent post reference is displayed as stats.
Granted the editing tools may not be up to snuff. Still worthy of some notification, new and improved etc.

Craig just needs to "Resynchronize post counts" in the phpbb control panel and it will reflect the correct number of posts in that forum.

The count is correct. There are 6 threads with 43 replies for a total of 49 posts.

Sometimes spam is deleted from the forum, and occasionally it shows up in the recent posts feed before it's deleted which would sometimes show a title on the front page or in the rss feed that no longer exists, but otherwise there don't appear to be any existing problems.

Is there something that your seeing now that appears incorrect?

Correct. Just confused stats with disappearance of all the obsolete individual threads, instead of posts.

The facility lacks features needed for listing individual items like a catalog website. Threads and posts are limited: e.g. listings cannot be removed once sold, once a reply has been posted. Selling is different than chat.
References to external catalog sites is about all it can do well.
