Hello
I have an Electrolux Trilobite vacuum robot that I use frequently. Recently, I have noticed that it is not charging. I have to push it hard against the base to charge. It charges fine when I do that. I have to charge it with a chair holding it in front of it to keep it charging. I noticed a direct charger port on the side. Will that help me charge it directly from a cord inside the base? I'd really like to fix the base, though.
Thanks in advance

First make sure that the adjustment screw on the back has support against the wall.
If it has;
If you open the charger, you will see that it is a mechanical breaker, that makes the power disappear when the pressure goes away. Sometimes they can be bent (i have seen this on one unit I bought second hand), which can be easily put right again.
Inspect that the wires leading to the connector plates are not broken, and clean the contact points.
Normally this will help. Cord chargning is possible as well, but frankly unnecessary, and more complicated than fixing the base.

Thanks for your help. The wire had unscrewed from the little metal piece on the breaker.vespaman wrote:First make sure that the adjustment screw on the back has support against the wall.

I screwed it back and it works great.
