Inside the iRobot Roomba 890

Here's a quick picture of the 690 and 890 opened up. It appears that other than the obvious hardware differences, (690 ECHM) and (890 CHM w/extractors). Both robots have the same firmware release and as noted by airobotrepair, neither robot is equipped with the IR detector hardware for the Stasis front wheel. This means that the black/white front wheel could technically be an all white or black wheel since the stasis function is no longer checked for.

Now where in the world is the 790 WiFi ?

890 rear cliffs or bin sensors, which is gone? Don't see the regulator for the bin, which bin motor is it using? on bottom maybe?
and those h-bridge chips?

890 rear cliffs or bin sensors, which is gone?

iRobot modified the bottom plate and removed the two rear cliff sensor openings. Bin sensors still installed. Still looking at using a 20x or 30x loupe to read part numbers. Some H-bridge markings for transistors appear to show ( 2E 2Y) not much to go on. Going to look closer at the bin later. Don't like the extra effort needed to remove it from the rear of the Roomba. Seems a bit tight.
